The Trust is dedicated to establishing and maintaining a Spiritual Retreat in Belize for those seeking Spiritual growth by following the timeless teachings of the Masters, Saints or           Enlightened Ones of all religions.

            THE GATEWAY RETREAT


                                  
We are based on 30 acres of land to the west of Corozal in Belize, Central America.
It is a Spiritual Retreat, set up to foster individual spiritual development in harmony
with nature and as a service to mankind.



MOTIVATIONS:

The essence of the Retreat will be based on loving and serving humanity from universal compassion
  that arises through personal development on the spiritual path.
Respect for all religions, religious figures and symbols
and for all Enlightened Ones
and their teachings will be fostered.



EMPATHETIC ACTIVITIES:

· A practical and contemplative simple rural lifestyle.
· All activities are, as far as possible, to be in harmony with nature.
· Utilisation of renewable energy sources and self-sufficiency will be promoted
  where possible.
· Demonstration of harmonious and sustainable forms of using the land and its resources
· Preserving and protecting Mayan ruins, and developing a nature reserve.
· Food cultivation by eco-friendly means, healthy nutrition and exercise.
· Farmer's market of home-grown agricultural and forestry products.
· Arts and crafts gift shop.
· Complementary/Alternative therapies including the production of natural medicines.
· Educational, Training and Spiritual workshops, including teaching spiritual values
to children and their parents.
· Supporting individuals and communities in overcoming challenging circumstances;  
and the promotion of social welfare and health.
· Any other income generating activities in harmony with the core objective.
